Learn to Love Again
An 8-Week Virtual Group to Heal, Grow, and Choose Love Intentionally
This 8-week journey is a space for women who feel stuck and tired of falling in the same patterns of dating and canβt seem to find a healthy partner to form a life with. Learn to Love Again is designed to be an intimate collective, with the purpose of creating connection and instilling safety and trust as we explore the vulnerable and unguarded parts of our stories.
This group is open to women in all relationship types, including heterosexual and same-sex partnerships.

The Process Coffee Club:
A Coffee Salon for Connection
Welcome to OUR POP UP CAFΓ β networkingβs not really our thingβ¦ but connection is.
Our sold out Coffee Club returns to Orange County!
Think of this as a coffee-fueled salon for healers of all kindsβtherapists, acupuncturists, doulas, artists, reiki practitioners, naturopaths, and even that hairdresser who doubles as your life coach. Because letβs be real, healing happens in a lot of places, not just on a therapy couch. (Spoiler alert: everyone is healer in their own way, so all are welcome).
We want this to be a space where healers feel taken care of β a place to recharge, all while making meaningful connections that help us build a more holistic quality of care for our clients and communities. Enjoy a full-service espresso cart with Summer seasonal drinks, a build-your-own bloom bar, and a live DJ set by Scott Welch to keep the Summer vibes going (ahemβ¦ coffee clurb?!). Live photo booth doodles by Scrubble Tea Shop and professional mini photos sessions with the amazing Jenny Markham are available as an optional add-on to your morning with us. Profits from these optional add-ons will go straight to The Process Wellness Foundation, our emerging non-profit created to expand access to mental health care that is affordable, inclusive, and rooted in compassion.
Because good conversation deserves great coffee, weβre partnering with Flow Good Coffee, whose creativity meets quality ingredients in order to offer summer-themed flavors for us! We care deeply about collaborations that mutually support and uplift other local, minority-owned small businesses doing good work in our communitiesβso your morning cup will not only taste good but do good, too.

Mind the Shift: Understanding the intersection of hormones, mental health, and identity during the perimenopausal transition
Understanding the intersection of hormones, mental health, and identity during the perimenopausal transition
Perimenopause is more than a biological milestoneβitβs a psychological reckoning. While much of the conversation centers on hot flashes and irregular cycles, the emotional, mental, and identity-based shifts of this transition often go unnamed and unsupported. Anxiety, rage, grief, memory lapses, and changes in self-worth are dismissed as βjust hormones,β leaving many feeling isolated, confused, or broken.
This workshop is here to change that.
Led by Dr. Sahar Martinez, licensed therapist, professor, and founder of The Process Wellness Collective, Mind the Shift offers a comprehensive, compassionate exploration of perimenopause as a whole-person mental health journey. Together, weβll explore how this phase can disrupt our sense of identity, emotional regulation, relationships, and productivityβand how we can move through it with awareness, agency, and grace.
In this workshop, youβll learn:
How hormonal changes affect the nervous system, cognition, and mood
Common (but under-discussed) emotional symptoms of perimenopause
The cultural silence and stigma that shape our experience of midlife
How identity shiftsβespecially for parents, professionals, and caretakersβcan trigger grief and renewal
Practical tools to regulate mood, reconnect with your body, and reclaim your inner authority
Ways clinicians can support clients through this transition with inclusivity and sensitivity to race, gender, class, and systemic barriers
Whether youβre in the midst of this transition, anticipating it, or supporting others through it, Mind the Shift invites you to reframe perimenopause not as an unraveling, but as a portal to deeper self-understanding.
This is not the end of your story. Itβs a powerful rewrite.
The investment for this 3-hour virtual workshop is $95.
I also offer a sliding scale because I believe mental health education should be accessible, while also honoring the energy, labor, and expertise involved in creating this space.
To register, please choose the rate that best reflects your current financial capacity below:

Lunch & Unlearn 5 | "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels"
Lunch & Unlearn Vol. 5 β
βNothing tastes as good as skinny feels.β
Join us for a powerful conversation deconstructing the beauty ideals that have been sold to us as truth. This session will explore how colonialism, white supremacy, and patriarchy have shaped harmful body image norms and how these messages continue to impact mental health, self-worth, and clinical practice as a whole.
Together, weβll unpack:
The origins and enforcement of colonial beauty standards
The mental health toll of body surveillance and aesthetic conformity
How to support body liberation in ourselves and our clients
For therapists, wellness professionals, and anyone ready to challenge the thin, white, able-bodied ideal, this is an invitation to unlearn in community and reimagine what beauty, health, and worth can look like beyond the body.
β
Join us virtually on Zoom and receive: live teaching and exploration from our founder and licensed therapist, Dr. Sahar Martinez; opportunity for live Q&A with the community who joins; a digital recording; a PDF recap.
This series is dedicated to challenging outdated assumptions, examining common therapeutic practices through new lenses, and embracing more inclusive, authentic, and effective ways of supporting well-being. Topics might range from unpacking biases within therapeutic frameworks to exploring how we can adapt practices to honor diverse identities and life experiences.
Perfect for therapists, wellness professionals, and anyone curious about rethinking mental health, Lunch and Unlearn offers a unique space to question, connect, and grow.

Lunch & Unlearn 4 | "Where the healed treat the sick"
Lunch & Unlearn Vol. 4 β
βWhere the healthy treat the sickβ
Letβs unravel the myth of the perfectly healed therapist.
Therapy has long been viewed as a place where the βhealedβ support the βhurtingβ but that binary is not only false, itβs harmful. This conversation will unpack the myth that therapists must have it all together to be effective, and the pressures mental health professionals face to perform wellness.
Therapy is not a place where the "healthy" fix the "sick." It's a relational, human space where healing is reciprocal, layered, and ongoingβfor both client and clinician. This session invites therapists, healers, and wellness professionals to confront the harmful narrative that we must be fully healed to help others.
We'll explore:
The origins and impact of the βwounded healerβ myth
The internalized shame clinicians carry about their own mental health
How to create space for authenticity and imperfection in the work
What ethical, embodied leadership actually looks like in practice
Letβs unlearn the pressure to perform wellness and make room for something more honest: the truth that healing doesnβt disqualify us, it connects us.
For therapists, healers, and mental health professionals ready to move beyond neutrality and into meaningful engagement, this discussion challenges us to see therapy as not just a space for healingβbut for change.

Lunch & Unlearn 3 | "Therapy isnβt political"
Lunch & Unlearn Vol. 3 β
βTherapy isnβt politicalβ
The Myth of the Apolitical World: Unlearning the myth that therapy exists outside of politics by exploring how systemic forcesβracism, capitalism, and policyβshape mental health and access to care. Recognize the role of advocacy in ethical practice and how embracing this reality makes therapy more just and effective.
βTherapy isnβt political.β But what if it is? What if it always has been?
Many of us were taught that therapy should remain neutralβthat politics has no place in the room. But can we truly separate mental health from the systems that shape our clientsβ lives? In this session, weβll unpack the myth of apolitical therapy and explore:
How systemic oppression impacts mental health
The ethical responsibility of therapists in social justice work
When and how to bring up social and political issues, and whether it's our role to do so
Ways to navigate these conversations with awareness and integrity
