Learn to Love Again: An 8-Week Group to Heal, Grow & Choose Love Intentionally

Learn to Love Again

An 8-Week Group to Heal, Grow, and Choose Love Intentionally

If you find yourself stuck in unhealthy or unsatisfying romantic relationships and are ready to break free from old patterns, Learn to Love Again was created for you.

This intimate 8-week group is a space for women ready to heal from the inside out… women who are tired of settling, tired of second-guessing themselves, and ready to move forward with clarity and self-worth.

Together, we'll explore why we choose the partners we do, how to identify what we truly need and deserve, and how to step into dating (and relationships) with intention, trust, and empowerment. You'll be supported in saying "enough" to what no longer serves you and "yes" to the love you truly desire.

Through connection, exploration, and gentle challenge, this group aims to foster safety, trust, and genuine transformation.

πŸ“… Tuesdays, starting May 20th
⏰ 6 PM - 7:30 PM
πŸ“ The Process Wellness Collective

*This is a closed group, which means you sign up for the full eight weeks with the expectation to attend all eight weeks for the most all encompassing experience.

β€” β€” β€”

For your convenience, we are offering a payment plan (no interest or additional cost to you). Option to pay in four installments of $110, billed every 2 weeks. This recurring payment will stop after 4 times, totaling the final cost of the group at $440.

Option to pay in full upfront and get it out of the way.

Saturday | June 28, 2025 | 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Location: The Well Lived Woman - Topanga Canyon, CA

The Process Wellness Collective will be popping up at the Well Lived Woman! Think of this as a morning salon. Coffee-fueled, community-centered, and intentionally created for healers of all kinds. Therapists, acupuncturists, doulas, artists, reiki practitioners, naturopaths (even the hairdresser who doubles as your life coach)... because healing happens in many forms, and in many places.

This summer, the gathering will include a live panel of established healers, offering wisdom, conversation, and insight into what it means to support others while also tending to ourselves. Whether you’re newly stepping into your title as a healer or are years into your path, you’ll be warmly welcomed.

We’ve designed this space to feel nourishing – an opportunity to pause, connect, and root back into the heart of your work. Come enjoy:

The event is free to attend, and we’re offering two optional donation-based add-ons:

  1. Professional Headshots with Jenny Markham – $40

  2. Best Sellers Gift Bag curated by The Well Lived Woman – $40

All proceeds from these add-ons will benefit The Process Wellness Foundation, supporting accessible wellness services in our community, and The Well Lived Woman.

Mind the Shift: Understanding the intersection of hormones, mental health, and identity during the perimenopausal transition

Understanding the intersection of hormones, mental health, and identity during the perimenopausal transition

Perimenopause is more than a biological milestoneβ€”it’s a psychological reckoning. While much of the conversation centers on hot flashes and irregular cycles, the emotional, mental, and identity-based shifts of this transition often go unnamed and unsupported. Anxiety, rage, grief, memory lapses, and changes in self-worth are dismissed as β€œjust hormones,” leaving many feeling isolated, confused, or broken.

This workshop is here to change that.

Led by Dr. Sahar Martinez, licensed therapist, professor, and founder of The Process Wellness Collective, Mind the Shift offers a comprehensive, compassionate exploration of perimenopause as a whole-person mental health journey. Together, we’ll explore how this phase can disrupt our sense of identity, emotional regulation, relationships, and productivityβ€”and how we can move through it with awareness, agency, and grace.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:

  • How hormonal changes affect the nervous system, cognition, and mood

  • Common (but under-discussed) emotional symptoms of perimenopause

  • The cultural silence and stigma that shape our experience of midlife

  • How identity shiftsβ€”especially for parents, professionals, and caretakersβ€”can trigger grief and renewal

  • Practical tools to regulate mood, reconnect with your body, and reclaim your inner authority

  • Ways clinicians can support clients through this transition with inclusivity and sensitivity to race, gender, class, and systemic barriers

Whether you’re in the midst of this transition, anticipating it, or supporting others through it, Mind the Shift invites you to reframe perimenopause not as an unraveling, but as a portal to deeper self-understanding.

This is not the end of your story. It’s a powerful rewrite.

The investment for this 3-hour virtual workshop is $95.

I also offer a sliding scale because I believe mental health education should be accessible, while also honoring the energy, labor, and expertise involved in creating this space.

To register, please choose the rate that best reflects your current financial capacity below:

If you’re an organization or clinical practice interested in registering a group, or if cost remains a barrier, please reach out directlyβ€”equity is a core value of this work.

*All participants will receive a downloadable reflection guide and 7-day replay access.

Lunch & Unlearn 5 | "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels"

Lunch & Unlearn Vol. 5 β€”
β€œNothing tastes as good as skinny feels.”

Join us for a powerful conversation deconstructing the beauty ideals that have been sold to us as truth. This session will explore how colonialism, white supremacy, and patriarchy have shaped harmful body image norms and how these messages continue to impact mental health, self-worth, and clinical practice as a whole.

Together, we’ll unpack:

  • The origins and enforcement of colonial beauty standards

  • The mental health toll of body surveillance and aesthetic conformity

  • How to support body liberation in ourselves and our clients

For therapists, wellness professionals, and anyone ready to challenge the thin, white, able-bodied ideal, this is an invitation to unlearn in community and reimagine what beauty, health, and worth can look like beyond the body.

β€”

Join us virtually on Zoom and receive: live teaching and exploration from our founder and licensed therapist, Dr. Sahar Martinez; opportunity for live Q&A with the community who joins; a digital recording; a PDF recap.

This series is dedicated to challenging outdated assumptions, examining common therapeutic practices through new lenses, and embracing more inclusive, authentic, and effective ways of supporting well-being. Topics might range from unpacking biases within therapeutic frameworks to exploring how we can adapt practices to honor diverse identities and life experiences.

Perfect for therapists, wellness professionals, and anyone curious about rethinking mental health, Lunch and Unlearn offers a unique space to question, connect, and grow.

Lunch & Unlearn 4 | "Where the healed treat the sick"

Lunch & Unlearn 4 | "Where the healed treat the sick"

Lunch & Unlearn Vol. 4 β€”
β€œWhere the healthy treat the sick”

Let’s unravel the myth of the perfectly healed therapist.

Therapy has long been viewed as a place where the β€œhealed” support the β€œhurting” but that binary is not only false, it’s harmful. This conversation will unpack the myth that therapists must have it all together to be effective, and the pressures mental health professionals face to perform wellness.

Therapy is not a place where the "healthy" fix the "sick." It's a relational, human space where healing is reciprocal, layered, and ongoingβ€”for both client and clinician. This session invites therapists, healers, and wellness professionals to confront the harmful narrative that we must be fully healed to help others.

We'll explore:

  • The origins and impact of the β€œwounded healer” myth

  • The internalized shame clinicians carry about their own mental health

  • How to create space for authenticity and imperfection in the work

  • What ethical, embodied leadership actually looks like in practice

Let’s unlearn the pressure to perform wellness and make room for something more honest: the truth that healing doesn’t disqualify us, it connects us.

For therapists, healers, and mental health professionals ready to move beyond neutrality and into meaningful engagement, this discussion challenges us to see therapy as not just a space for healingβ€”but for change.

The Process Coffee Club:
A Coffee Salon for Connection

Welcome to OUR POP UP CAFΓ‰ β€” networking’s not really our thing… but connection is.

Think of this as a coffee-fueled salon for healers of all kindsβ€”therapists, acupuncturists, doulas, artists, reiki practitioners, naturopaths, and even that hairdresser who doubles as your life coach. Because let’s be real, healing happens in a lot of places, not just on a therapy couch. (Spoiler alert: everyone is healer in their own way, so all are welcome).

We want this to be a space where healers feel taken care of β€” a place to recharge, all while making meaningful connections that help us build a more holistic quality of care for our clients and communities. Enjoy a full-service espresso cart with Spring seasonal drinks, buttery and flaky pastries, a build-your-own bloom bar, a used books shop, and professional headshots with Jenny Markham as an optional add-on to your morning with us.

Because good conversation deserves great coffee, we’re partnering with Flow Good Coffee, whose creativity meets quality ingredients in order to offer spring-themed flavors for us! We care deeply about collaborations that mutually support and uplift other local, minority-owned small businesses doing good work in our communitiesβ€”so your morning cup will not only taste good but do good, too.

Lunch & Unlearn 3 | "Therapy isn’t political"

Lunch & Unlearn Vol. 3 β€”
β€œTherapy isn’t political”

The Myth of the Apolitical World: Unlearning the myth that therapy exists outside of politics by exploring how systemic forcesβ€”racism, capitalism, and policyβ€”shape mental health and access to care. Recognize the role of advocacy in ethical practice and how embracing this reality makes therapy more just and effective.

β€œTherapy isn’t political.” But what if it is? What if it always has been?

Many of us were taught that therapy should remain neutralβ€”that politics has no place in the room. But can we truly separate mental health from the systems that shape our clients’ lives? In this session, we’ll unpack the myth of apolitical therapy and explore:

  • How systemic oppression impacts mental health

  • The ethical responsibility of therapists in social justice work

  • When and how to bring up social and political issues, and whether it's our role to do so

  • Ways to navigate these conversations with awareness and integrity

For therapists, healers, and mental health professionals ready to move beyond neutrality and into meaningful engagement, this discussion challenges us to see therapy as not just a space for healingβ€”but for change.

Lunch & Unlearn Vol. 2 β€”
β€œYeah, I’m culturally competent. I finished all of those CEUs for the year.”

Cultural Competency vs. Cultural Humility: Beyond checklists. Beyond CEUs. Beyond performative allyship.

An essential conversation on cultural humilityβ€”a lifelong practice of self-reflection, learning, and unlearning. While cultural competency implies mastery, cultural humility acknowledges that true understanding is an ongoing process, not a destination.

Join us for the second gathering of Lunch and Unlearn, a refreshing, thought-provoking series led by Dr. Sahar Martinez, founder of The Process Wellness Collective. In each session, Dr. Martinez will guide us through important discussions on the deeply ingrained beliefs and practices within the therapy space that we might want to reconsiderβ€”or even unlearn.

Max attendance: 25

Whether you're a seasoned professional looking to elevate your practice or an emerging therapist seeking to establish a strong foundation, this is an invitation to connect with fellow therapists to weave a narrative that precisely reflects your journey, values, and inner voice.

This workshop provides a safe space where vulnerability is celebrated. Through guided exercises and hands-on activities, discover the strength that lies in authenticity, as we break down the walls that may hinder your genuine connection with potential clients.

This isn't a one-size-fits-all workshop, it's intimate with a limited number of attendees to ensure you feel supported.

  • Connect with fellow therapists in a meaningful way: Share experiences, learn from each other, and foster a supportive network that extends beyond the workshop. Together, we'll create a community where authenticity thrives.

  • Uncover Your Therapeutic Palette: In the cozy ambiance of our intimate gathering, we will delve into the essence of who you are as a therapist. Through reflective exercises and thoughtful discussions, we'll unlock the colors that make up your unique professional palette.

  • Create a Heartfelt Narrative: Crafting your professional identity is not just about logos and websites – it's about storytelling. Together, we'll weave a narrative that authentically reflects your journey, values, and the genuine passion that fuels your therapeutic practice.
